Rava Vegetable Pancake

Material:

  • ½ cup semolina (rava)
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • ¼ cup grated carrots
  • ¼ cup frozen green peas
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small capsicum, chopped
  • 2 green chillies, chopped
  • a pinch of sugar
  • ground black pepper as per taste
  • ¼ tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil as per requirement
  • green chutney for serving

Process:

1. Mix semolina, curd and water in a bowl to make a paste. After this, when the paste is neither too thick nor too thin, add carrots, peas, onion, capsicum, green chillies, sugar, crushed black pepper, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.

2. Heat a non-stick pan, pour the prepared batter on it with a ladle and spread it lightly to make pancakes. Sprinkle some oil on the edges and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.

3. Your delicious and nutritious rava pancake is ready. Serve it with green chutney.

Banana Pancake

Banana pancake is full of taste.

Material:

  • ¼ cup mashed banana
  • ½ cup wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Process:

1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl with 1 cup of water and mix well with a whisk.

2. Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with ¼ teaspoon butter, pour ¼ cup batter on it and spread the circle and make a slightly thick pancake.

3. Cook the pancakes on medium flame using ¼ tsp butter. This has to be cooked until it becomes golden in color from both the sides.

4. In this way you can make as many pancakes as you want.

5. Serve the tasty pancakes made by you with fruits and chocolate sauce and pack them in the children’s lunch box.

Ragi Pancake

Ragi pancakes will give you taste as well as nutrition.

Material:

  • 1 cup ragi flour
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • strawberries for garnish
  • blueberries for decoration
  • icing sugar for sprinkling
  • Maple syrup

Process:

1. Sieve ragi flour, maida and baking powder in a bowl. Then add salt, caster sugar and eggs in it. Add vanilla essence, milk, melted butter and whisk to combine well.

2. Heat a non-stick pan, apply some butter on it and spread the prepared batter and cook on medium flame till the base is cooked.

3. Turn over and cook the other side in the same manner. Place pancakes on a serving plate.

4. Sprinkle icing sugar on top, garnish with strawberries and blueberries. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve.
