Keshav Maurya called a meeting of DGP and senior police officers, gave these instructions

There is an uproar in Uttar Pradesh BJP after the Lok Sabha elections 2024. It is being claimed that everything is not going well between Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the senior leadership. At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya is also being held responsible for this to some extent. Meanwhile, on Monday, Maurya held a meeting with senior police officers in the Legislative Council regarding law and order. DGP and senior police officers were present in the meeting.

During the meeting, Maurya directed the senior officers to emphasize on solving the problems of the public on priority at the police stations and making efforts to stop the increasing corruption and incidents related to cyber crime. At the same time, it is also being discussed about this meeting that why did Maurya call a meeting related to law and order?

Being the leader of the House, Maurya had called the meeting

Keshav Maurya is the leader of the House i.e. the Legislative Council. Every time this meeting is held a day before the commencement of the House. This was the reason why Keshav took a meeting of senior officials on Monday.

He has also shared information regarding this meeting on X. In which he has said that a meeting of Uttar Pradesh Director General Shri Prashant Kumar ji and other senior police officers was called in the Legislative Council on Monday. In the meeting, instructions were given to fix all the arrangements including solving public problems on priority at police stations and making efforts to stop increasing corruption and incidents related to cyber crime.
