RSS leader Ashwini Kumar dies, one sentenced to life imprisonment
RSS leader Ashwini Kumar was murdered in Kerala. In this case, a court in Thalassery, Kerala, acquitted 13 of the 14 accused. In the RSS leader’s murder case, the additional court sentenced the accused MV Marshuk to life imprisonment. Sessions Court Judge Philip Thomas handed down judgment in the case. A total of 14 NDF workers were charged in the case. Ashwini Kumar was murdered on March 10, 2005. He was traveling by bus from Kannur to Perawar. In the meantime, the bus was forcibly stopped and the two got on.
Those who boarded the bus attacked RSS leader Ashwini Kumar, killed him and fled the scene. This incident occurred on March 10, 2005. The RSS leader was only 27 years old at that time. In this case, the injured party decided to file a lawsuit with the Supreme Court. Prosecutors cited a failure in the investigation and all defendants were acquitted.
Ashwini Kumar is a university teacher
Ashwini Kumar is a resident of Kannur district. He works as a teacher at a university in Iriti. He is also associated with RSS. The case has remained unsolved since his public murder on a bus in 2005. Currently, the case has been pronounced, with 13 National Democratic Front leaders acquitted and one person sentenced to life imprisonment.
42 witnesses appeared in court
A total of 42 witnesses have appeared in the Ashwini Kumar death case. This case also produced 57 documents and 85 pieces of evidence. In this case, there was a significant delay in the defendant’s appearance in court. According to the victim’s side, the first and second defendants appeared in court approximately six years later.
According to the victim’s side, the four defendants had committed acts of violence and vandalism inside the bus. The fifth to ninth defendants kept chasing the bus. He followed the bus until it arrived. To stop the buses, they threw bombs on the road to scare people. The 10th to 12th defendants are the masterminds of the entire case. He hatched a plot to help everyone escape from there. The bombs and gunpowder used in the murder of Ashwini Kumar were brought by accused Nos. 13 and 14.
