A major accident occurred in Kasaragod, Kerala, on the eve of Diwali. During an event at a local temple, a huge explosion occurred in the fireworks gallery. The incident has injured more than 150 people. Everyone was rushed to the hospital immediately. The situation at the scene further deteriorated due to the explosion. Hundreds of people gathered for the program.
The incident took place at the Anjutambalam Veerarkavu temple. The annual Kaliyatam festival is being celebrated in the temple. Fireworks were ordered for the event. It is kept safely in the warehouse. At the same time, at 12:30 at night, fireworks suddenly began to explode, and a thick cloud of smoke soon rose.
During the incident, people started recording videos on their mobile phones. The explosion injured more than 150 people. Among them, 97 injured were sent to different hospitals. The incident has been notified to the police.
