Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal took out a padyatra at Jahangirpuri in Delhi today. I was attacked Kejriwal said, if you have the courage to contest elections, why are you being attacked. He said what kind of aristocrat could send Kejriwal to jail and stop Kejriwal’s work.
The Aam Aadmi Party leader yesterday (October 25) claimed that goons sent by the BJP tried to attack Arvind Kejriwal. AAP leader Manish Sisodia said the attack on Kejriwal was extremely reprehensible and worrying. It is clear that the BJP carried out the attack through its goons. If anything happens to Arvind Kejriwal, the BJP will bear full responsibility. We are not afraid. The Aam Aadmi Party will remain steadfast in fulfilling its mission.
Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said Arvind Kejriwal was attacked by BJP goons during the padyatra in Vikaspuri. The BJP first arrested him on a false case. He was put in jail, where no one gave him insulin. When he appeared in court, he was given insulin. The BJP wants to stop Arvind Kejriwal’s job. The BJP wants to kill Kejriwal. He said there were several attempts to attack Kejriwal and every investigation revealed the involvement of BJP workers in these attacks. Some BJP workers came to Arvind Kejriwal and started raising slogans against Arvind Kejriwal and started attacking him.
Kejriwal said in Jahangirpuri that he has been working with complete honesty for the past 10 years and has done a job that no political party or any leader has done in the past 75 years. He said that in 2014, there were power outages for 7-8 hours. But there are no power outages yet. He said that the PPP has governments in 22 states, but no state has 24-hour power supply. He said the BJP people insulted me and Kejriwal was distributing free gifts in return. He said I gave free water in Delhi. But when the BJP sent me to jail on a false case, people received water bills worth thousands of rupees. He said there was no need to make up for it, and I would forgive them if they let me CM again.
