Political discussions are taking place in the national capital Delhi over the pollution of the Yamuna river. Now, the Delhi BJP chief has launched a unique protest at ITO Chhath Ghat. The BJP asked Chief Minister Atish and Arvind Kejriwal to come to the Ghat and take a dip in the river. The party claims to have made all preparations in this regard.

ITO state president Shvirendra Sachdeva rolled out the red carpet to welcome Arvind Kejj at Chhath Ghat, a social media post from the Delhi unit of the BJP said Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi. Now we are eagerly waiting for Kejriwal to come and take a dip in Yamuna as promised.

After this, the group marked Kejriwal and Atishi and asked where you were missing. “Kejriwal ji, fulfill your 2020-2021 promise and take a dip in Yamuna ji before the 2025 elections!”

Former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had promised to clean up Yamuna by March 2023 and said he would also take a dip in Yamuna ahead of the 2025 assembly elections.

What did Kejriwal say in his promise?

Earlier, during the Chhath festival in November 2021, Arvind Kejriwal had promised that the Yamuna river would be cleaned up soon. During this period, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal set up the Yamuna Clean Cell to clean Delhi’s heavily polluted Yamuna river. The job of this group is to follow the work of the relevant departments, but no one knows what this group is doing.
