Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced the ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’ for senior citizens. Kejriwal said that after the Delhi government is formed, the Delhi government will come up with the Sanjeevani scheme for senior citizens. Here, all citizens above the age of 60 will receive free treatment. There are no limits or categories. The plan will be implemented after Aam Aadmi Party forms the government in Delhi.
Announcing the Sanjeevani Yojana, Kejriwal said, The scheme for senior citizens that I am announcing today has never happened in history. We respect our elders very much. You have done so much to move the country forward. Now it’s our turn. Kejriwal said that inspired by Shravan Kumar, we launched the Chief Minister’s Teerth Yatra scheme for senior citizens. About 100,000 senior citizens have benefited from the program so far. It is sent to all pilgrimage sites in the country. The Delhi government bears all costs.
This is good news for all the elders of Delhi. Treatment is free for all citizens above 60 years of age in Delhi. This is Kejriwal’s assurance.

Arvind Kejriwal further said that as we age, 100 diseases surround us. Worry about how to get treatment. Many times children do not take care of their parents. Like Lakshan ji brought Sanjeevani herbal medicine. Similarly, after the Delhi government is formed, the Delhi government will come up with the Sanjeevani scheme for senior citizens.
