Following these discussions, the authorities took steps to eliminate the illegal encroachments and issued the controversial notification.

The farmers said that there is no dargah of this name in our village or fields. Aminuddin Dargah, mentioned in government records, is one of around 43 survey numbers of Ishtar Made Honwada village. Farmers have expressed anger over the fact that 1,200 acres of land in the village will be included in the Waqf Board.

Farmers protest notice to protest

Tukaram Nalode, a farmer from Honwada village, said that the notice claimed that the land belonged to Shah Aminuddin Dargah, but this Dargah has existed for centuries and our family has owned this land for generations. owner. He said about 41 farmers had received notices asking them to provide ownership records, but we were the real owners. If the government does not withdraw these notifications, we will protest massively.

However, Waqf Board officials said the notifications were based on a 1974 gazette notification. An official of the Vijaypur Waqf Board said the state government had marked the land as a waqf property and registered it in the gazette. However, some notifications were mistakenly sent to farmers. If they have valid land records, the Waqf Board will not take any action against them.
