Karhal, Pulpur… When will by-elections for 9 seats in UP be held, know the complete schedule

The Election Commission held a press conference on Tuesday to announce the dates for the assembly elections in the two states. Along with this, by-elections were also announced for 48 parliamentary seats and 2 Lok Sabha seats. It also includes nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, for which polling will be held on November 13. Polling for Milkipur seat is yet to be announced.

The Election Commission announced by-elections for 48 parliamentary seats and 2 Lok Sabha seats. By-elections will be held on November 13 for 47 Assembly seats and Wayanad Lok Sabha seats. By-elections to the Kedarnath Assembly seat and Nanded Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra will be held on November 20. The results for all these seats will be declared on November 23.

10 seats are still vacant in UP

As for UP, the 10 seats where by-elections will be held include Karhal in Mainpur, Sisamau in Kanpur, Phulpur in Prayagraj, Katehari in Ambedkar Nagar, Majhwan in Mirzapur, Milkypur in Ayodhya, Ghaziabad Sadar, Khair in Aligarh, Mirapur of Mirapur. Including Muzaffarnagar and Moradabad seats. However, by-elections were announced for only 9 seats. The date for Milkipur seat is yet to be announced.

Maharashtra and Jharkhand schedule announced

Voting will be held in Maharashtra on November 20 and the results will be announced on the 23rd. All 288 seats in the state will go to polls in a phased manner. According to the Election Commission, the last date for nominations is October 29.

Voting will be held in two phases in Jharkhand. According to the Election Commissioner, voting will be held from November 13 to 20. The state’s election results will also be declared along with Maharashtra’s. The results of the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand will be declared on November 23.
