UP News: A surprising case took place in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. A thief entered the temple and first offered water to Lord Shiva and then fled the temple with the urn. The entire incident was captured by the CCTV cameras installed in the temple. The video went viral on social media.

It is understood that the case involves a temple in Nawabganj area of ​​Kanpur. A thief and his companion came to the temple on a motorcycle at night. From the CCTV footage, it can be seen that the thief first opened the gate of the temple and offered water from the urn kept in the temple to the Lord.

After that, the thief kept the darshan of the Lord in the temple for some time and then he tried to steal a bell from the temple. He took out a knife from his pocket and started cutting the chain of the bell, but the chain could not be cut.

After that, the thief decided to steal the urn in the temple. He offered the remaining water in the urn to the god and then put the urn in his bag. After that, he left the temple. At this point, the temple passage was closed.

The incident came to light when the temple administration checked the CCTV footage. Once the video went viral, the matter reached the police. A case has been registered and an investigation has begun. Joint Commissioner of Police Harishchandra said that the Nawabganj police has been directed to file a report in the matter. By tracing the number of the scooter, the thief was soon found. The police are currently busy identifying the thief and his accomplices.
