A 70 year old Maulana who raped a girl in Kanpur has been arrested. He had called the girl into the room by luring her with toffee. Then the people present at the spot made a video of it and caught him red handed. But then he ran away. The police have now collected the video of this incident as evidence.
Let us tell you that the incident had happened two days ago, the neighbors had caught the accused Maulana Mukhtar alias Maulana Chacha from the spot. But then he ran away from the spot. The police was actively searching for him. Now success has been achieved in arresting him. Police have arrested Maulana from his relative’s house. More sections including rape have been increased in the case. After presenting him in the court, he is being sent to jail.
Police kept searching for two days, Maulana was in Gwaltoli only.
In this case, DCP Central Dinesh Tripathi said that the police of Gwalatoli police station of Kanpur has arrested the accused Maulana Mukhtar alias Maulana Chacha. He had committed wrongdoing with a minor girl. A case under section 376 has been registered against him. He was hiding in his relative’s house in Gwaltoli. There, he has been arrested. Currently, his criminal history is under investigation but his social image is not good. The video of the incident that has surfaced is important. Forensic evidence is also being collected.
People were keeping an eye on Maulana for many days.
Local people and the victim’s family members said that Maulana had already done wrong with two girls. People did not say anything due to fear of public shame. But this time everyone’s eyes were on him. On the night of the incident, Maulana caught the girl. The nearby shopkeepers were watching his actions. After this he took the girl to his room, where he did wrong things with the girl.
The girl was saved by entering the room
The neighbor recorded Maulana’s dirty activities on his camera. After this the girl was taken out by breaking the door. Maulana was caught red-handed naked on the spot and was beaten severely. On being caught, Maulana started pleading and started folding his hands and legs, begging for mercy.
On the other hand, as soon as the girl saw her family, she hugged them and started crying. Crying, she started telling about the misdeeds of Maulana. The people of the locality tried to settle the matter by holding a Panchayat. But seeing the opportunity, Maulana ran away, then the family informed the police about the incident. As soon as the news of the incident spread, a crowd of hundreds of people gathered there. People started an uproar regarding the arrest of Maulana. Considering the situation, PAC had to be deployed in the area on Friday night.
