A four-storey house collapsed in Kanpur. CCTV footage of this accident has surfaced. The people living in the house were evacuated in time. Because of this a major accident was averted. It is said that this accident happened due to the excavation of the metro tunnel.
This incident is being reported from a locality of Harbansh Mohal police station area. Recently, the floor of the building whose collapse has surfaced had suddenly sunk 20 feet. Due to the sinking of the floor, a member of the house was hanging more than half inside. Due to this there was an outcry. Somehow people pulled him out.

According to local people, underground digging of metro is being done from Nayaganj Harbansh Mohal area. Due to this excavation, cracks had appeared in many houses in the area even 4 months ago. On Sunday, hotelier Shambhu Nath, living in Harbanshpur area, was sleeping in his house. Then suddenly after midnight the floor of his room caved in.
