The troubles for Bollywood actress and BJP MP from Kangana Ranaut Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh have increased. The court has issued a notice against him in a case of treason and insulting farmers. The Agra Special Member Judiciary Court has ordered a notice to be issued to Kangana Ranaut over his statements regarding the farmers’ movement and Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. The court has sought Kangana Ranaut’s reply through a notice.
Lawyer Ramashankar Sharma filed a case against Kangana in the special court MP-MLA. The hearing was held on Tuesday. The court said Kangana Ranaut should appear before the court and state his side. To this end, the bench directed him to issue notice. Regarding the matter, lawyer Ramashankar Sharma said, I have filed a case against BJP MP Kangana Ranaut before the special MP-MLA court. On August 27, we read his statement, where he talked about everything from the farmers’ movement to the situation in Bangladesh. He published another statement in a newspaper on November 17, 2021, insulting Mahatma Gandhi. “
The lawsuit was filed on September 11
On September 11, 2024, Agra senior lawyer Rajiv Gandhi Bar Association president Ramashankar Sharma filed a case against Kangana Ranaut. In the lawsuit, it is alleged that on August 27, 2024, Kangana Ranaut read out a statement published in a newspaper, in which Kangana said that from August 2020 to December 2021, Sitting Farmers on dharna protested against black laws on Delhi border, rape happened there and if the leadership of the country had not been strong at that time, the country would have had a situation like Bangladesh. Ramashankar Sharma, the plaintiff’s lawyer, accused Kangana Ranaut of insulting the country’s tens of millions of farmers. Farmers have even been called murderers, rapists and extremists.
