Kalindi Express conspiracy… 300 officers engaged in investigation, NIA and IB searching village after village

Six police teams, forensic teams from Kanpur and Lucknow, LIU, IB, NIA, GRP and RPF are engaged in uncovering the conspiracy to derail the Kalindi Express. A total of 300 people are involved in these teams. 54 police officers have inspected the spot. No concrete evidence has been found yet.

The forensic team has definitely sent 10 samples for investigation. Meanwhile, UP STF has laid a trap in the surrounding villages. STF raided 7 villages along with the police. Police-STF team conducted operation in 7 villages including Nawada, Munderi, Kanthi Nawada. Meanwhile, NIA and ATS team are working on the activities of banned organizations in the area.

Prisoners lodged in jail are also being interrogated
The ATS team interrogated the terrorists lodged in Lucknow jail. Terrorists lodged in several jails are being interrogated in the Kalindi Express case. NIA, ATS and STF officials interrogated the terrorists lodged in Kanpur and Lucknow jails on Wednesday. They checked the details of those who came to meet them and took the relevant documents into their custody.

There was a conspiracy to overturn the train near Kanpur
On the night of 8 September, a conspiracy was hatched to derail the Kalindi Express going from Prayagraj to Bhiwani near Kanpur. Anti-social elements had placed LPG cylinders, petrol and gunpowder on the track. After colliding with the train, the cylinder fell off the track. Apart from the gas cylinder, petrol bottles and gunpowder were recovered by the police and investigation agencies from around the track.
