Mumbai police have detained two men from Baraich in Uttar Pradesh in connection with the murder of former Maharashtra minister and three-time MLA Baba Siddiqui. One of the detainees named Harish, Dharamraj and Shivprasad Gautam worked in a scrap shop in Pune.

Three of the bullets hit Baba Siddiqui. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
