In recent years, even younger individuals have been diagnosed with heart-related issues, highlighting the urgent need for awareness and preventive measures.
Public awareness campaigns, educational programs, and social initiatives are necessary to inform people about early symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, and fatigue. Immediate medical attention can save lives.
TOI is organising a medithon to create awareness and educate people about this growing epidemic. The event will be held in four sessions and will have experts to discuss sensitive and lesser known topics around heart disease.
