Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant Recruitment 2024: There is a good opportunity for 12th pass youth to serve the country by joining the Indian Navy. Indian Navy has invited applications for Sailor SSR (Medical Assistant) Recruitment 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Indian Navy, joinindiannavy.gov.in. The online application process has started, eligible candidates can fill the application form till 17 September 2024.

According to the SSR Medical Assistant Recruitment 2024 notification issued by the Indian Navy, the posts of SSR Medical Assistant will be recruited in the November 2024 batch. The recruitment exam will be conducted in October. The training of selected eligible candidates will start from November 2024.

Who can apply?
It is necessary to pass class 12th (10+2) examination from a recognized board or institute. Also, at least 50 percent marks should be obtained in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) subjects. If we talk about age limit, then the applicants should be born between 01 November 2003 to 30 April 2007. Know how much salary you will get
After selection for the post of SSR Medical Assistant in Indian Navy, the salary will be Rs 21700 to Rs 69100 under Level 3 of Defense Pay Matrix. Apart from this, they will be paid Rs 5200 per month MSP and DA (as applicable).

Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of two stages of examination. In Stage-I, marks obtained in 12th PCB will be considered, while Stage-II includes physical fitness test, written examination and medical test. In the physical test, men will have to do 20 sit-ups, 15 push-ups and 15 bent knee sit-ups in 6 minutes 30 seconds. At the same time, 100 objective type questions will be asked in the one-hour written examination. It will have four sections of 25-25 marks – English, Science, Biology and General Awareness / Reasoning Ability). Each question will be of one mark. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of physical fitness, written examination and medical testing. Please note that during both phases of recruitment, candidates will have to bring their original certificates, mark sheets, residence certificate and NCC certificate (if any).
