October 29, 2024: Exciting news for action movie fans! Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz to reunite in this thriller day drinkerdirected by Marc Webber for Lionsgate. The film will premiere at the American Film Market (AFM), where Lionsgate will launch international sales.
The project is particularly important for Depp, marking a possible return to Hollywood following his controversial divorce from Amber Heard. While he has appeared in projects such as French films Jeanne DuBarry and directed Modi: Three days on the wings of madness, day drinker Represents a more business-focused enterprise.

The film tells the gripping story of a cruise ship bartender who encounters a mysterious day drinker who leads them into the criminal underworld. Lionsgate’s Adam Fogelson praised the film’s commercial concept and stressed that Depp and Cruz were perfect for their roles.
This marks Depp and Cruz’s fourth collaboration after “The Movie.” blow, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tidesand Murder on the Orient Express. Webb at the helm – with 500 days of summer and The Amazing Spider-Man Movies – Fans have a lot to look forward to.
The film is executive produced by Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, with Adam Kolbrenner and Zach Dean (Zach Dean) serve as writers, and they have a strong background in the action genre. Lionsgate is also working with 30WEST, who will serve as executive producer.
