The Jodhpur High Court on Thursday gave relief to film actor Salman Khan and actress Shilpa Shetty. The Jodhpur High Court in Rajasthan has quashed the FIR registered against two persons under the SC-ST Act. The high court said that an FIR cannot be registered under the SC-ST Act without approval and investigation.
In fact, this story comes from a 2013 interview between Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty Kundra. The petitioner objected to the use of the word ‘Bhangi’ by Salman and Shilpa in this interview. He said the word hurt the sentiments of the people of the Valmiki community..
