JNVST 2025 6th Grade Admissions: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the registration date for admission to Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6. Parents who have not applied for the Jawaharlal Nehru Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025 can now apply by September 23. To apply, one must visit the official website of NVS navaodaa.gov.in. Earlier, the last date for application was September 16.

According to the notification issued by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, the JNVST Class 6 entrance exam 2025 will be held in two phases on January 18 and April 12, 2025. The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm. Parents can register online for this entrance before September 16, 2024. The admit card will be released on the website before the exam.

NVS Level 6 Admissions 2025: How to Apply
Step 1: Log on to the official website navodaya.gov.in.
Step 2: Navigate to the home page and click on the link “NVS Class VI Registration”.
Step 3: Complete the registration process and fill in the JNVST application form.
Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit.
Step 5: Download the confirmation page and print it out.

Who can apply?
Students studying in Grade 5 in any school district can apply for admission to JNV in the same district. Candidates seeking admission must not have been born before May 1, 2013 and after July 31, 2015. In some cases, students from economically weaker sections may be given preference.

  • A certificate certified by the Principal containing the candidate’s details in the prescribed format
  • Passport size photo
  • Guardian’s signature
  • Student Signature
  • Aadhaar details or residence certificate from a government agency

Let us tell you that students can appear for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) only once. During the verification, if a student is found to have applied earlier, his/her candidature will be cancelled. More information related to the exam can be found on the official website.
