Know the situation in Jharkhand
While there was political unrest in Maharashtra ahead of the election results, an air of silence prevailed in Jharkhand. Voting patterns are said to be the main reason for this. The pattern of voting in Jharkhand is said to have made it difficult for leaders to assess, so leaders from both parties are now waiting for the strong chamber to open.
Jharkhand has 81 assembly seats and requires 41 members to form the government. In 2019, the Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha alliance formed the government here.
Voting increased, but…
Voter turnout increased in Jharkhand this time. The total number of votes cast increased by approximately 4%. Usually, when the vote share increases, it is seen as being against the government, but this time Jharkhand had 68 seats where women voted more than men.
Women’s voting share confuses experts. It is said that this time, women are the new vote bank. The JMM is busy grooming these people through the Maiya Samman Yojana even before the elections.
JMM claimed that women played an important role in this election and that is why Hemant Soren entered the government again. Women’s issues were discussed extensively in this election in Jharkhand.
JMM Maiya respects women. Meanwhile, the BJP is trying to bring them into its fold with promises like Gogo Didi and one-rupee land registration.
Reduced votes in 11 seats leads to tensions
On the one hand, overall turnout increased. On the other hand, 11 assemblies in Jharkhand saw a decline in turnout. These include seats like Barkatha, Panki and Chhatarpur.
With low turnout in these seats, the question is what will the math of victory look like? The BJP and its allies won most of the seats that had polled less last time.
In this situation, everyone is paying attention to what will happen in the plot here.
JMM survey shows weakness in China’s parliament
Apart from the exit polls, a survey has also been released by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. In this survey, the JMM won 59 of the 81 parliamentary seats. In the party’s survey, Congress was described as very weak. Surveys show that Congress bigwigs are stuck in their seats. The survey was released by Secretary General Supriyo Bhattacharya.
The survey shows that there are 14 such seats where the Congress is in trouble. As per the formal agreement, Congress is contesting 28 seats.
In this inquiry, the Congress was declared in Rameshwar Oraon’s Lohardaga, Ajoy Kumar’s Jamshedpur East, Seats such as Deepika Pandey’s Mahagama and Badal Patralekh’s Jarmundi are weak. However, JMM general secretary Vinod Pandey said the idea was proposed by Supriyo Bhattacharya. Nothing to do with the party.
Jairam Factor in Koyalanchal
Kudmi leader Jairam Thakur also contested the Jharkhand elections. It is said that many candidates in Jhallam have succeeded in creating a triangular contest in Kolkhan and Koyaranchal. Jeram himself is contesting in elections in Dumri and Belmore.
Jaram’s candidates are also considered strong in seats such as Bagodhar and Bagmara. In this case, all eyes turned to his vote. It is said that if Jeram harms the NDA, then the BJP can stay away from power.
Meanwhile, if the Indian candidate loses because of Jeram, Hemant’s comeback will be difficult. NDA’s Sudesh Mahato was also on edge over Jairam’s issue.
