Jio users beware, call records will be deleted if you make a mistake and secrets will be leaked

A mistake by a Jio user could cost them dearly and their call history could fall into someone’s hands. Reliance Jio has more than 450 million active users in India. In this case, it could affect millions of users. Jio users install the My Jio app on their phones to check the recharge plans, validity, etc. of their phones. One such feature is available in the My Jio app where one can view the history of all calls made through prepaid numbers. If you make a small mistake, this call history could fall into someone’s hands.

One mistake can cost you dearly

The MyJio app contains details of all active services on your number, so it could be dangerous for someone to access it. To log in to the MyJio app, the user’s mobile number is required. Thereafter, the number receives the OTP and once entered, the application can be accessed. If someone mistakenly logs into the MyJio app using your Jio number and gets the OTP by mistake, then all your secrets may be exposed. You will get information about the number you dialed, the number of calls and the duration.

Not only this, someone can also get information about active internet data packages and other value-added services through your number. In this case, you should not share your OTP with anyone, even if it is wrong. In the MyJio app, you can also view the call and message history of your number. For this, you have to install the MyJio app in your phone and log in using your Jio number.

Check call history like this

  • First download and install MyJio app in your phone.
  • After that, enter the number and OTP to log in using your Jio number.
  • After logging into the app, you will see the interface of the MyJio app.
  • Here you will see your name and profile icon in the upper right corner.

  • As soon as you type here, go to Claims and check the history of calls made to your number.
