According to the information, a large number of pilgrims had reached Lohargal on Sunday night to collect Kanwad. The number of people increased during bathing in Surya Kund at night. Home Guard and Police RAC personnel interrupted. Even after this, when the situation was not under control, the police and home guard personnel started beating the Kanwariyas with sticks. Kanwadis protested against lathi charge and clashed with the home guard who was lathicharged.

Some anti-social elements were trying to enter the women’s zone

Despite this, some anti-social elements started trying to go to the women’s place. After which our soldiers tried to convince them. But he did not agree, due to which the police had to use mild force. During this, he had a clash with RAC soldiers. A case has been registered in this case and some people have also been identified.
