Polling for the assembly elections will be held from November 13 to 20 in 81 seats in Jharkhand. The nomination process for the election, which was held in two phases, has been completed. Meanwhile, a large police force reached GD Goenka School in Nayatoli in Namkum police station area at 7 am on Wednesday and started raiding the school. The amount involved in the case is said to be over Rs 1 crore.

According to sources, more than 1 crore cash is hidden in the Goenka School building in Jharkhand. After receiving the information, the Election Commission team immediately took action and reached the school along with the police at 7 am. The school building is being searched. The school gates are closed and entry and exit of the campus without permission is prohibited.

It is also learned that a team from the State Bank of India (SBI) also arrived at the school with a currency counting machine. On the other hand, the police also raided the house of a leader who owns a GD Goenka school franchise. Information about cash was also found there.

Let us tell you that the Jharkhand Assembly elections will be held in two phases. The first phase of voting for 43 seats will take place on November 13. A total of 743 candidates are vying for these 43 seats. Voting will take place on November 20, with 634 candidates competing for 38 seats. The Jharkhand Assembly election results will be announced on November 23, 2024. In light of the election, the electoral commission and the police appear to be on full alert.
