Jharkhand: PM Narendra Modi’s mega road show in Jamshedpur, will also address public meeting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate schemes worth more than crores for Jharkhand in Jamshedpur today and flag off six new Vande Bharat trains at Tatanagar Railway Station. After this, the PM will also hand over approval letters to 20,000 Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) beneficiaries at Tatanagar.

Apart from this, PM Modi will do a kilometer long mega road show in Jamshedpur which will start from Bistupur Voltas roundabout and go till Bistupur police station. After this, he will address a huge public meeting at Gopal Maidan at around 11 am. This political meeting is expected to be a major event for the BJP, for which preparations have been going on for several days to make it successful. This road show and rally of the PM is being seen as the beginning of the campaign for the upcoming assembly elections in the state.

PM will visit Jharkhand, Gujarat and Odisha

In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to lay the foundation stone and launch projects worth more than Rs 12,460 crore during his three-day visit to Jharkhand, Gujarat and Odisha from September 15 to 17. PM Modi will flag off six Vande Bharat trains at Tatanagar Junction railway station on Sunday. The Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat train is one of the six trains that will be flagged off.

‘PM will give approval letter to PMAY-G beneficiaries’

After this, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation various railway projects worth more than Rs 660 crore through video conferencing at 10.30 am and will also distribute approval letters to 20,000 Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) beneficiaries at Tatanagar.

Apart from this, the PM will also lay the foundation stone of Madhupur bypass line and Hazaribagh Town Coaching Depot in Deoghar district. Modi will also dedicate to the nation the doubling of Kurkura-Kanaron line, which is a part of the Bondamunda-Ranchi single-line section and part of the Rourkela-Gomo route via Ranchi, Muri and Chandrapura stations.

Elections may be held in November or December

Let us tell you that the upcoming assembly elections for all 81 assembly seats of Jharkhand will be held in November or December 2024. The term of Jharkhand Assembly is going to end on 5 January 2025. The last assembly elections were held in December 2019. In the last election, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Congress and RJD fought in alliance and won. JMM won the maximum 30 seats, while Congress won 16 seats, while the then ruling BJP won 25 seats.
