Today, Saturday, a major move was taken by the central investigative agency during the Jharkhand Assembly elections. Investigative agencies are raiding the homes of residents of Kalyan, including Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s personal adviser Sunil Srivastava. The Income Tax department team is conducting the raid. Based on the information received so far, seven locations in Ranchi are being raided while many locations in Lohnagari Jamshedpur are also being raided.
Earlier on October 14, in connection with the Jal Jeevan Mission scam case, a team of the Transformation Authority raided the belongings of Mithilesh Thakur, a cabinet minister in the Hemant Soren government. The residence of brother Vinay Thakur, personal secretary Harendra Singh and several engineers of the department.
Sunil Srivastava is the personal secretary to Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the Income Tax department team is currently raiding Sunil Srivastava Residence in Ashok Nagar, Ranchi. At the same time, raids were being carried out at the locations of many others.
