The announcement of the list caused dissatisfaction within the party
The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced the list of 66 candidates in Jharkhand. Ever since the BJP made its name public, it has been facing accusations of nepotism. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha accused the BJP of giving tickets to these people, half of whose leaders were from other parties, and of the party’s emphasis on familyism.
Moreover, many prominent BJP leaders have left the party since the candidate list was announced. These include the names of Lewis Marandi, Kedar Hazra, Kunal Sarangi, Ganesh Mahali, Laxman Tudu, Basco Besra and others. These leaders have joined JMM.
