Arjun Munda, Raghuvar Das, Babrao Marandi and Hemant Soren
In the Jharkhand elections, the rebels caused trouble for both the National Democratic Alliance and the Union of India. Important leaders of the BJP stepped in to appease the irate leaders through the Baji cleansing operation, but Himanta and leaders like Shivraj Singh Chauhan and BL Santosh failed to convince everyone.
That’s why after the date of withdrawal of nominations passed, the BJP had to expel around thirty leaders who opposed it from the party. The same is true in India. In 12 seats, the rebels have opened a front against their coalition. In this scenario, major political parties in Jharkhand are losing their nerve to think about whom the rebels will cause more damage.
How big a threat are the rebels to the NDA?
Winning Jharkhand is very important for the NDA. Therefore, the party has sacrificed everything and takes victory as its main basis. There is deep dissatisfaction within the Bharatiya Janata Party with the 68 candidates fielded by the Bharatiya Janata Party, 35 of whom are foreign candidates. Obviously, workers who have worked for the PPP for many years are disappointed in this situation. So, in many seats, workers and leaders came out against their own parties, against the BJP.
Among these angry leaders, the name of Ravinder Rai, who is preparing to rebel to become the BJP candidate from a seat in Giridih district, also cropped up. Ravinder Rai is a former MP and key leaders of the BJP appeased him by making him the party’s working president, but Lewis Marandi, Kedar Haz Many leaders like Kedar Hazra have now started spoiling the BJP’s game by taking tickets from the JMM. This story doesn’t end there.
With the last day for returning nominations passing, the BJP is trying to send a direct message by excluding 30 BJP workers and candidates. Be it Jamshedpur East constituency, Ranchi Rural constituency, East Simbhum constituency, Lohardaga constituency, Khunti constituency, Hazaribagh constituency, Garwa constituency, Chhatra constituency, Jamshedpur In Mahanagar and Palamu constituencies, BJP workers have contested as independent candidates in thirty seats. He has been expelled from the party for six years.
These leaders become a challenge to the party
In many seats, only the leaders of the BJP are taking part in the fight against nepotism, saying that their fight is not with the party but with those who have succeeded in getting votes in the name of nepotism. Among these leaders, the name of Shivshankar Singh is rising, through his marriage to Purnima Das, daughter-in-law of Raghuvar Das from Jamshedpur east (Purnima Das) competition and became a challenge for the party.
Similarly, Arjun Munda’s wife was also contesting from the Potka seat but she managed to convince the BJP candidate to become an independent candidate. But the BJP failed to convince Shimon Malto, who has now joined the JMM. Shimon Malto wanted to get a ticket from Barhet, but when he failed to get one, he joined JMM along with his supporters. The parties that oppose dynasticism and dynastic politics seem to be completely trapped in the shackles of dynasticism and dynasticism. This is why there are more dissatisfied people in the BJP than in other parties.
Political analyst Dr Sanjay Kumar said familism is present in every dominant political party in Jharkhand. Therefore, this issue has no hope of being effective for the BJP. In fact, the BJP wants to win Jharkhand at any cost to maintain the strength of the central government. The party therefore compromised strongly on its principles, given the victorious nature behind the vote.
The rebellion in AJSU, the ruling party of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has also reached its peak.
AJSU received 10 tickets in the league’s NDA. But this claim was made by political analysts, who said that 16 candidates have entered the AJSU campaign. The rebellion in Sudesh Mahato’s party is said to be the most serious and is the biggest challenge facing the NDA as a constitutional party. Apparently, the BJP was unable to coordinate with the AJSU in 2019. This is why the BJP failed to form the government just through campaigning. This time AJSU became part of the league. But the horrific rebellion within the party appears to be becoming a headache for the NDA.
There is also serious disunity in the Indian region. How will the Hemant government face it?
The SP of the Indian block is not part of the Indian Union of Jharkhand. Notably, the SP and AAP are engaged in triangular contests in more than a dozen seats in Haryana. This is why Congress failed to form a government. In Jharkhand, too, the Samajwadi Party is contesting elections separately from India. RJD, JMM and CPI(M) are engaged in a friendly contest on three seats. The India Bloc is also said to be troubled by the rebellious attitude of independents and constitutional parties in about 20 seats. As a result, political parties, including political pundits, have begun to avoid explicitly stating which side the camel will sit on.
Congress also had to expel three leaders
The Congress Party showed the way out for the three leaders of anti-party actions. These include Devendra Singh from Panki, Muneshwar Oraon from Latehar and Israfil Ansari from Gomian. Congress appears to have slacked off on the campaign trail. However, the JMM and CPI ML expressed the anguish within the Indian bloc by fielding candidates against leaders like Babu Lal Marandi.
