The decision on seat allocation between the Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for the Jharkhand Assembly elections is about to be finalized. As per the formula, the JMM can give up its three seats to MLAs. JMM contested 43 seats last time. Even after the seats are swapped, only 43 seats are up for grabs this time.

In the last assembly elections, the Congress contested 31 seats. However, this time Congress can contest 29 seats. The RJD contested 7 Assembly seats last time. However, this time it is likely to get 5 seats in the league. The new ally of the alliance this time is ML.
