A surprising case has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi city. A young man was brutally treated for refusing to make feed and collect dung for buffaloes. The victim, Baba Kabutra (45), said four bullies from Baragontakori village took him to the village and beat him. His hands and feet were then tied, hung upside down from a tree, and water was forced into his mouth.
His head was then shaved and taken away in a procession, with video of the incident going viral on social media. Based on the victim’s report, the police have opened a case and launched an investigation. But even after the video went viral, questions continued about police negligence. The victim, Baba Kabutra, had four children and worked to support her family.

In his complaint, Baba Kabutra told the police that a powerful man residing in Thakoli village under Balagaon police station was pressuring him not to stay with the priest but Stay in his house, pound the cows and buffaloes and throw their dung. The police filed a case and started investigation
Superintendent of Police Ramveer Singh said that a case in the Sipuri Bazar police station area came to his notice through social media. In the video, you can see that the young man’s hands and feet were tied and his hair was cut off. A case has been registered and investigation has begun. Further action will be taken accordingly.
