A tragic accident occurred at UP Jhansi Medical College. A fire broke out in the children’s ward due to a cylinder explosion. 10 children died in the incident. Rescue operations are underway. Eyewitnesses and victims described the heartbreaking accident scene at the medical college, with the victim’s father saying: “Sir, my baby has been burnt. My name is Pradeep.” My wife’s name is Niru. My child was burned in a fire in the ward. Another witness said my children had also been living there for two days. The fire was so intense that no one dared to enter the ward. No one can enter. The doctor is also outside. About 50 children are admitted to the ward. After the windows were broken, the children began to be led out.

Death of child is very sad and heartbreaking: CM Yogi

CM Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the accident at the medical college. He posted on social media platform Regional governments and relevant officials have been instructed to carry out rescue operations on a war footing. This is a prayer to Lord Shri Ram for salvation of the souls of the deceased and speedy recovery of the injured.

Investigate and give report within 12 hours: CM Yogi

On the instructions of CM Yogi, Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak and Chief Secretary Health have gone to Jhansi. The CM has directed the Jhansi Commissioner and DIG to investigate the accident and submit a report within 12 hours.
