JEE Mains exam pattern has changed
NTA has made changes in the JEE Mains exam pattern and deleted the optional questions in Part B. The exam pattern will revert to the original format where Part B had only 5 questions per subject. Earlier, due to Covid-19, it was mandatory to attempt any 5 questions out of the total 10 questions in JEE Mains from 2021 onwards. Now from 2025, NTA will follow the old pattern of JEE Mains where Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics had 25 questions each. The agency said this will apply to Engineering (BE/B.Tech, Paper 1) as well as Architecture and Planning (B.Arch/B.Planning, Paper 2) tests.
