Jat never bows…BJP speaks out on India’s no-confidence motion against Jagdeep Dhankar

Federal Council Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar

The BJP linked the opposition’s no-confidence motion against Jagdeep Dhankar in the Lok Sabha to respect for Jat. Addressing a press conference, BJP MP Sambit Patra said the Congress always insults farmers and the Jat community. According to Patra, the proposal for Dhankar was made at the behest of the Gandhi family.

Talking to reporters at the BJP headquarters, Sambit Patra said the Congress has been insulting the OBC Prime Minister. The Congress leader also repeatedly insulted Draupadi Murmu of the tribal community. Now, a no-confidence motion has been moved against Jagdeep Dhankhar, a farmer’s son.

Patra said the numbers were not in their favour, and the notification would be withdrawn, but despite this, the proposal was brought forward. Patra further said that the proposal was made keeping in mind how it would insult the Jat people. This is the first time in the history of the country that a motion of no confidence has been lodged against the Vice President.

Jatt never bows his head – Patra

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said people from the Jat community have always worked honestly but now they are being questioned. I would like to say that Jats never bow their heads. People would react more strongly to such an insult from a farmer’s son.

Congress strongly opposes Danka

Congress is strongly against Jagdeep Dhankar. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said Dhankar’s working style was being questioned. Opposition parties were forced to move a motion of no confidence against him.

Sixty opposition MPs have issued a motion of no confidence against Danka. The proposal has been submitted to the Secretary-General of the House of Federation. Since the notification, political activity has increased in Delhi.

Danka was accused of failing to listen to opposition members’ opinions during the parliamentary proceedings, violating rules and giving ruling party figures a chance to speak. The controversy intensified when Dhankar argued with Malikajun Haq in Parliament on Monday.
