Jamshedpur: Trainee pilot and instructor missing along with the plane, the plane took off from Sonari Airport yesterday

A two-seater plane took off from Sonari Airport in Jamshedpur on Tuesday. Shortly after takeoff, the plane lost contact with the control room and no information has been received about it till now. It is said that an institute named Al Chemist gives training in flying airplanes. One of its planes, FESL-2, has been missing since yesterday.

A trainee pilot Sudipto and his instructor Jai were on board the training plane. Along with the plane, their whereabouts are also unknown. It is said that the plane took off from Sonari Airport at around 12 noon on Tuesday. After about 20 minutes, its contact with ATS was lost. After this, everyone got worried. After some time, it was learnt that the plane had crashed in the Dalma forest.

Plane not found in Dalma
After this, the entire administration started looking for the plane in Dalma, but it could not be found. Then Russo Manjhi and Tapan Manjhi, who live near Chandil Dam, told the administration that when they were fishing near the dam, they saw that a plane fell into the dam.

Search operation going on in Chandil Dam
After this, divers and NDRF team started search operation in Chandil Dam. The plane could not be found in the dam as well. Meanwhile, the families of both the trainees and the instructor are crying inconsolably.
