Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists fire on Army ambulance in Aknoor, search operation continues

An army vehicle was attacked in Jammu and Kashmir’s Akhenur Butt district on Monday morning. According to sources, no one was injured in the terrorist attack. Terrorists target army ambulance.

The officer said a military vehicle came under fire in the Battle area. There is currently no news of casualties caused by the attack. Search operations are ongoing in the area. It was also reported that vigilant soldiers thwarted a possible terrorist attack.

There were also attacks on vehicles last week

Similar attacks were reported in Jammu and Kashmir last week. Terrorists ambushed and attacked army vehicles in Baramulla area. Two soldiers and two porters were killed in the attack. According to officials, terrorists opened fire on two army trucks in Botha Patri last week as a convoy carrying Indian National Rifles personnel and porters was heading towards the Nagin post in the Avravat range.

Valley Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the Botha Patri army vehicle attack and expressed grief. In a post on his social media account The attack resulted in casualties and some injuries.

He also said that the recent number of attacks in Kashmir is a matter of serious concern. I strongly condemn this attack and express my condolences to the families of the victims. I also pray for a speedy recovery for the injured.

6 workers died

Even before this attack, terrorists had attacked a tunnel construction site in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbalgaganjir district and targeted workers. Six workers and a doctor were killed in the terrorist attack.
