Massive forest fire breaks out in Chenab Valley.

A fire broke out in Uchhad forest in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. The fire has engulfed about 2 kilometers of forest. A large number of trees were damaged. Officials said local people, forest department, wildlife department, army and police are working together to control the fire.

Officials said the fire was not yet under control due to its large spread. Due to insufficient rain, forest fires occur frequently. Doda district also released a horrific video of the fire. A fire can be seen breaking out in the forests of the Chenab Valley. The forest department is busy trying to control the fire.
