One person has died due to gas leak at an ice factory near MBD Books building in Jalandhar, Punjab. Meanwhile, three persons have been rescued. After two hours of efforts, the body was also brought out. Police said the entire area has been cordoned off as a precautionary measure.

The incident took place at Jalandhar Sector 3 police station. An ammonia leak occurred at an ice factory near MBD Books building here. Three out of four people were rescued while the fourth person died.
