Jaishankar said that after President Trump’s victory, many countries were worried about US policies, but India was not such a country. He expressed confidence that relations between India and the United States will remain strong due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s good relations with the US President.

In his speech, Jaishankar praised Prime Minister Modi’s rapport with many US presidents. He also said Modi had developed good relationships with Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden during his time in office. Jaishankar also emphasized that Prime Minister Modi’s ability to build good relations with global leaders is beneficial to India. He also mentioned that Trump first made three calls to Prime Minister Modi after his victory, which showed the importance of India-US relations.

India will become the third largest economy

Not only that, Jaishankar also emphasized India’s economic development and said that India is now the fifth largest economy in the world and will become the third largest economy by the end of this decade. He also said that India’s exports and foreign investment have grown significantly in the past decade. Jaishankar said that foreign policy emphasizes economic diplomacy and promotes national development and security.
