The interim bail of Engineer Rashid, MP from Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir, will end today. Today he has to surrender before the Delhi jail administration, but before that he has made an important statement. Engineer Rashid, chairman of the People’s Ittehad Party, said we are ready to make any sacrifice for our people. We have not committed any crime. I hope justice is served. Engineer Rashid said, I will tell the people of Jammu and Kashmir that the truth is with us. We are not wrong. We want peace and development in Kashmir but we should also take back our deprived rights because you left me in Tihar or elsewhere and we should not lose our courage. Prison cannot bring me to submission.

Yes, we are called upon to stay away from them (the people of Kashmir) but they should be encouraged and courageous, truth will prevail and truth is on our side. We will always talk about Kashmir and Kashmiris.
The special NIA court at Delhi’s Patiala House Court has granted interim bail to Engineer Rashid till October 2 to contest the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. However, Engineer Rashid’s interim relief was extended twice. Today, October 28, he must surrender. The court will also hear Engineer Rashid’s request for routine bail today.
