‘Jai Lord Shankar…’, Muslim youth shouted slogans and people of his own community attacked him

On Sunday, people of his community pelted stones at a Muslim youth living in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh and threatened to flee. The people of the community did this because during the Kanwar Yatra, the Muslim youth along with the DM SP of Bulandshahr had praised Bhole Baba regarding Hindu-Muslim unity. Regarding this, the victim youth has filed a case in Simbhaoli police station of Hapur district.

Threats are being received to leave the village and burn the family alive.

Police said that Muslim youth Qari Abdullah has filed a complaint in Simbhaoli police station. A case has been registered regarding this. According to the complaint, the victim says that on July 30, 2024, a program for refreshments etc. was organized at Syana Canal outpost to welcome the Kanwar pilgrims. In which respected people from nearby areas and SP, District Magistrate etc. were present.

In the presence of officials, the youth had raised slogans of Lord Shankar Ki Jai, Bam Bam Bhole in the honor of Kanwadis. However, during this time some anti-social elements made a video of it and showed it to the entire community. Since then, some people in the community are threatening to kill him and burn his family alive. Besides, he is also being forced to leave the village.

Police arrested one

The youth’s family is not coming out of the house due to fear of anti-social elements. However, a case has been registered against 15-20 unknown persons including Margoob alias Afridi, Alishan, Ajju, Wasim, Shakir of village VAT. .

In this case, Superintendent of Police Vineet Bhatnagar says that a case has been registered on the complaint. One person has also been arrested in the case. Strict action will be taken after investigation.
