The case of the encounter of Mangesh Yadav, accused of robbery in Sultanpur, is hot. Apart from Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Yogi government, calling this encounter fake. At the same time, CM Yogi has made a sharp comment on Akhilesh, accusing him of doing politics on the encounter. After which Akhilesh Yadav again attacked CM Yogi by posting on ‘X’. He said that who will listen to those who have no say in their own party, anyway, why feel bad about the words of those who leave?

In fact, CM Yogi Adityanath was seen attacking SP and Akhilesh Yadav in a program in Ambedkar Nagar yesterday. He had said that if the dacoits had shot a customer present in the shop during the robbery, would SP have been able to bring his life back? CM Yogi said, when one of their mafia or dacoits is killed in a police encounter, it seems as if the police has put a finger on their sore spot. They start shouting.

Now Akhilesh Yadav said about this that “Who will listen to those whose words are not heard in their own party, anyway why should one feel bad about the words of those who have left.”

Akhilesh said, “Those in whose regime IPS officers remained absconding for months, there is talk of police stations earning 15 lakh per day, BJP members themselves are kidnapping the police and the Bulldozer Code has replaced the Penal Code, ‘law and order’ has become just a word, those for whom getting rebuked by the court has become a habit, it is better if they remain silent.”

Magistrate ordered investigation

At present, after the encounter of Mangesh Yadav, the District Magistrate of Sultanpur has ordered a magisterial inquiry. This inquiry will be conducted by SDM Lambhua Vidushi Singh. The police and administration have described this encounter as just and legal, but questions have been raised on it by the opposition parties.

Rahul also raised questions on Sultanpur encounter

Rahul Gandhi raised questions on Sultanpur encounter and said- In BJP ruled states, the very people who are responsible for implementing the law and constitution are flouting them. The encounter of Mangesh Yadav in Sultanpur has once again proved that BJP does not believe in the rule of law. Tears of Mangesh’s family are asking the whole country- who will live and who will not, will the court or the police decide this?

Rahul alleged, “Professional forces like STF are being run like ‘criminal gangs’ under the BJP government, and the silence of the central government on this is their clear consent to this ‘Thoko Niti’. Dozens of encounters of UP STF are under question. Has any action been taken against any of those officers till date? Who is protecting them and why? Embracing the Constitution in front of cameras is just a pretense, when your own governments are openly flouting it. All the suspicious encounters in Uttar Pradesh should be investigated impartially and justice should be done. The blood stains on the uniform should be cleaned.”

What did Akhilesh say?

Akhilesh Yadav had also made a sharp comment on the UP government regarding the Sultanpur encounter. He had said that other accused in the robbery case were shot in the leg, but Mangesh Yadav was killed in an encounter with the police. Akhilesh alleged that the life was taken on the basis of ‘caste’.

Meanwhile, a delegation of SP had gone to Mangesh Yadav’s house in Jaunpur. Akhilesh himself had spoken to Mangesh’s family on phone. Other party leaders and people from the organization are also reaching Mangesh Yadav’s house.

Let us tell you that on 28th August, crores of rupees were looted in broad daylight at Bharat Sarafa in Thatheri Bazar of Chowk area in Sultanpur city. According to the information, the robbers looted jewelry worth more than 2 crores. The police was conducting raids at many places in search of the accused. Meanwhile, the STF killed Mangesh Yadav in an encounter.
