Even after the coup in Bangladesh and Sheikh Hasina leaving the country, the situation is not improving and the violence against minorities is not stopping. Now spiritual guru Sadhguru has reacted to the condition of Hindus in Bangladesh and said that this disgusting violence should be stopped immediately. He said that the borders that have been drawn in recent times are not absolute.

Reacting sharply to the violence taking place in Bangladesh, he said, “It is extremely important to immediately stop the despicable atrocities in Bangladesh, but it is equally important to document these atrocities in detail. The national boundaries drawn in recent times are not absolute. “Cultural ties and civilizational connections are more important. India should not be bound by the rationality of the border, but by the broader realities of a civilization that is more than 75 years old.”

‘Protection of minorities is the first duty of the majority’

At the same time, Brigadier General (retired) M Sakhawat Hussain, advisor on home affairs to the interim government of Bangladesh, while speaking on the violence against minorities on Monday, said, ‘We have given instructions. The first duty of the majority community is to protect our minority brothers. If they do not do so and instead remain busy offering namaz in the mosque, then they will have to answer why they failed to provide security.

He also said that protesters have been directed to surrender all illegal and unauthorized firearms, including rifles looted from law enforcers during the recent violence, by August 19.

‘500 people died in violence’

According to a report in The Daily Star newspaper, Hussain said that if the weapons were not returned to the nearest police stations, officers would conduct searches and charges would be filed against anyone found in possession of unauthorized weapons. Hussain said that about 500 people, including students, were killed and several thousand others were injured during the protests.

He said, “In the video, a youth was seen taking a 7.62 mm rifle. This means that the rifle was not returned. If you did not hand over the weapon (due to fear), then hand over the weapon through someone else.”

Let us tell you that after violent protests against her government over the controversial quota system in jobs in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina resigned last week and left the country for India in turmoil.
