Israel’s Hamas War: Massive Israeli attack on Gaza kills 46 in 24 hours

Deir al-Bala: The Israeli army launched devastating airstrikes on Gaza. In this air strike, 46 people were killed in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours. Medical officials in Gaza said the area declared a humanitarian zone by Israel was also targeted. Of the 46 people killed in Gaza, 11 died in makeshift cafeterias in the area. In Lebanon, fighter jets struck Beirut’s southern suburbs on Tuesday, killing 33 people in other parts of the country.

The latest bombings in Israel came as the United States said it would not reduce military aid to Israel even after a deadline for more humanitarian aid to Gaza passed. A huge explosion was heard in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. The area is known as Dahiyah and Hezbollah is believed to have a presence here. Previously, the Israeli army had issued warnings to evacuate 11 houses there. No information on the number of casualties was immediately available.

Hospitals were also attacked

Officials at Gaza’s Nasir Hospital said at least 11 people, including two children, were killed in the cafeteria attack. An attack on a house in the northern Gaza city of Beit Hanoun on Tuesday killed 15 people, including relatives of Al Jazeera reporter Hossam Shabat, who was reporting from the northern region, officials said. Hossam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, said doctor Mohammed Shabat, his wife Dima and daughter Elia were killed in the attack. Palestinian medical officials said another 20 people were killed in attacks in central and southern Gaza. (language)
