Artificial Intelligence software engineer Atul Subhash’s wife Nikita Singhania, mother-in-law Nisha and brother-in-law Anurag have been arrested and sent to judicial custody. All three were arrested on December 14. Meanwhile, Atul’s father’s statement has come to light. He first thanked the Bangalore Police. Says – Thank you to the police who arrested my son’s killer. But we don’t know where my grandson Viom is. We are worried about him.
Atul’s father Pawan Modi said: I don’t know where Nikita kept my innocent grandson. Is he still alive or dead? Don’t know anything. We are concerned that he may have been treated inappropriately as well. We just want custody of Viom. We want to keep our grandson with us. For a grandfather, a grandson is greater than a son. Everyone supports us. The court should give us custody of our grandson. This is good for the child’s future.
Pawan Modi said: “Vyom is the last sign of our son. “The court should hand him over to us. We will take good care of him. We want to spend our last moments with our grandson. Artur is no longer with us, but if our grandson remains with us, perhaps some of the wounds in our hearts will be lessened. We appeal to all leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav to help us find our grandson.

All four defendants were arrested
Atul’s brother Vikas Modi has registered a case under Section 108 against four accused, including his sister-in-law. On December 14, Bengaluru police arrested Nikita, Nisha and Anurag and sent them to judicial custody. Under Indian law, each of the four can be sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Section 108 is the section related to the Indian Judicial Code. This section relates to incitement to suicide. According to the provision, if a person commits suicide and it is later discovered that someone abetted his suicide, the person can be jailed for up to ten years and fined.
