Is India Group changing in UPA? These six political parties will come together in 2023 to turn the tide, and Congress is everyone’s goal.

Just six months after the Lok Sabha elections, the Indian alliance is in turmoil. Although the alliance has not officially broken down, there is talk internally of changes to its structure. With the six parties in the alliance quitting the Congress over the past month on many major issues, there are rumors that India is turning into a UP alliance again.

In 2023, the opposition parties ended the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) and formed the Indian Alliance.

Nitish Kumar has completed the exercise

Nitish Kumar has started implementing the UPA expansion plan in 2022. For this, Nitish contacted everyone from Arvind Kejriwal to Mamata Banerjee, from Akhilesh Yadav to CPM’s Sitaram Yechury.

Nitish’s campaign was successful and he subsequently formed a broad opposition alliance with 26 political parties in July 2023. The alliance ceased to be UPA and was named Union of India.

Among them, UPA political parties such as DMK, NCP (Sharad), JMM, and RJD have been included in the Indian Union. New political parties such as SP, AAP, Trinamool, BAP and RLPA have also joined the alliance.

However, Nitish Kumar was the first to leave the league in January 2024. Nitish left India and joined NDA.

6 people become disillusioned in one month

1. Samajwadi Party- The SP is the third largest party in the Lok Sabha and has been officially incorporated into India. However, the SP has taken different stances from the Congress Party many times. For example, when Mamata Banerjee expressed her desire to run India, Akhilesh’s party was the first to express support.

Even on the issue of industrialist Gautam Adani, the SP did not stand with the Congress. The party said there was no need to drag out the issue for too long. The two parties are divided over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s trip to Sambhar.

Now, Akhilesh has expressed his intention to support the Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi elections. On Monday, Akhilesh Yadav came out in support of AAP. Akhilesh says wherever I am needed, I will be there.

The Samajwadi Party has a support base in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Uttarakhand. The party currently has 37 seats in the Lok Sabha.

2. Trinamool Congress- The Trinamool Congress led by Mamata Banerjee has also been formally integrated into the Indian Union, but Mamata has shocked the Congress three times in the last three times. The first occasion was the question of Gautam Adani. Recently, no TMC MP attended the meeting convened by Rahul Gandhi in Parliament on the Adani issue.

The second opportunity came when Mamta expressed her desire to become the leader of India. Manta, who is contesting the Bengal elections alone, has spoken of taking charge of the alliance, citing that all is not well in India.

The third controversy was caused by Abhishek Banerjee’s statement. Mamta’s nephew Abhishek has asked Congress to tell how the EVM was hacked? After this statement, Congress was in trouble.

3. CPM- After Sitaram Yechury’s death, relations between the Congress and the CPM were not smooth. In Kerala, the two parties have already started campaigning, but the fight between the two parties has intensified recently.

The Congress has brought many important leaders of the CPM into its fold. The battle between the two will be around 2026. Kerala will hold assembly elections in 2026 and the main competition will be between the major party alliance of the MPR.

4. National Democratic Party- Hanuman Beniwal’s party is in alliance with the Congress in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Beniwal was given the Nagaur seat as per the agreement. He entered the House of Representatives after winning the seat, but his relationship with Congress soured six months later.

The assembly by-elections have been held in the Khinvsar seat vacated by Hanuman Beniwal. Beniwal’s wife contested the by-election but Congress fielded its candidate from here.

The RLPA lost the election in Beniwal’s stronghold of Khinvasar after fielding a Congress candidate. Beniwal is now creating an atmosphere against the Congress.

5. Aam Aadmi Party- AAP signed an agreement with Congress in Gujarat, Haryana and Delhi during the Lok Sabha elections. AAP doesn’t get much benefit from being in the league. After this, AAP wanted to join the Congress in fighting the Haryana Assembly elections, but was rejected by the Congress.

Now, the AAP has decided not to compromise with the Congress in Delhi. AAP says it will win in Delhi on its own. AAP currently has 10 seats in the Union House and two seats in the Lok Sabha.

6.Indian Tribal Party- The Bharatiya Janata Party was also included in the Indian Union in 2024. The Banswara seat in Rajasthan was left to my father. Father’s Rajkumar Rot also won the Banswara seat.

After the Lok Sabha, the relationship between my father and the Congress soured. In the recent assembly by-elections, my father fielded candidates from Cholasi and Sarapur seats, and later the Congress party also fielded candidates from here.

Bap Chaurasi won but suffered defeat at Salambur.
