Iran’s army i.e. Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has launched the second satellite of this year on Saturday morning i.e. 14 September 2024. The name of this satellite is Chamran-1. It is being said that this is a research satellite. But amid the ongoing tension with Israel, deploying the satellite at an altitude of 550 km provides strength to the country’s army.

It was sent into an orbit of 750 kilometers.

Meanwhile, America said that the rocket with which Iran launched the satellite is a long-range ballistic missile technology. With this, Iran can pose a threat to space and the world in the future. Iran said that our rocket and satellite have cold gas propulsion subsystems installed. These needed to be tested in space. Therefore this rocket and satellite are being used. So that navigation and altitude control subsystems can be tested in space.
