Iran is deploying its latest weapon to protect itself from attacks by America and Israel. Its name is 9-Day. This is a new type of surface-to-air missile system. It has been built on the basis of Iran’s Sevom Khordad Long Range High Altitude Defense Missile System.
The new missile system consists of four two blocks. That means eight missiles can be fired simultaneously at any time. Two missiles will be fired from each block. Its deployment is being done at a time when there is a lot of tension between Iran and Israel. It can destroy many types of air attacks in the air itself.

Fighter jets, drones, cruise missiles can be shot down with the 9-Day missile system. Its range is 5 to 30 kilometers. Its missile can go up to a height of 20 kilometers. The Iranian Army is continuously increasing the strength and capabilities of this missile system.
This is a short range air defense system. That is, whether it is a cruise missile flying at low altitude, fighter jets, drones, helicopters or a cache of weapons being dropped from any aircraft. This missile can destroy all of them. This air defense system is being called a milestone for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps.

This missile was first shown last year in an exercise named Defenders of the Sky of Velayat. This is from 5 to 7 November 2023. In this maneuver, this missile system successfully intercepted the fixed targets. In which there were many types of targets.
Its radar system is capable of identifying and attacking many types of targets at once. Khordad-15 missile has been installed in it. It has S-band detection radar which is used for defense. 6X6 military truck chassis is used to fire it.
