IPL Auction 2025 is held in Jeddah. A total of 577 players participated in this auction. 182 players were sold. Among these players, Indian cricket star Rishabh Pant is the most valuable and he created IPL history. Rishabh Pant had been a member of Delhi Capitals before last season, but Delhi did not retain him before the auction, and Lucknow Super Giants finally bought Rishabh Pant for Rs 270 million. To date, no player in the history of IPL has received so much money for a single season. Rishabh Pant has parted ways with Delhi Capitals after nine years of association. Delhi wanted to buy him at the auction but their bid could not match Lucknow’s.

Rishabh Pant also shared an emotional post on his social media while talking about his entire journey. Sharing a post on Instagram, the India wicketkeeper wrote saying goodbye is never easy. This journey with Delhi Capitals has been nothing short of amazing. From the excitement on the court to the moments off the court, I have grown in ways I never imagined. I came here as a teenager and we have grown together over the past nine years.
Rishabh Pant further wrote in his post, What has made this journey worthwhile is you, the fans…you have embraced me, encouraged me and stood with me through the most difficult phase of my life . I keep your love and support in my heart as I move forward. Whenever I take the field, I’ll be there to entertain you. Thank you for being my family and making this happen. This trip is special.
