Many Instagram users reported that they encountered problems logging into the app around 10:37 a.m. About 1,500 people reported the issue on Instagram outage tracking site DownDetector. 70% of these users encountered this issue while using the app. However, internet users are yet to report issues on Instagram. About 16% of users on DownDetector reported server issues, while 14% experienced problems logging into their accounts.
On Weibo platform X, many users shared memes about the problems faced by Instagram. However, the app works well for many users. The app’s feed is refreshingly fresh, but posts from hours ago are still visible. Currently, Meta has not made any statement regarding this issue with Instagram servers.
