Indore: Shameful incident at shooting range, an army officer and a young woman were sent to bring money, the other was raped by miscreants

MP News: In Indore district, two trainee army officers who were partying with their female friends were brutally beaten up by miscreants. They also allegedly gang-raped a young woman and fled. The miscreants had come with the intention of looting. Police have taken two accused into custody. The search for the rest is on.

Actually, two officers of Major rank have come to Mhow Army College in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh for training. On Tuesday night around 2:30 am, both the officers hired a car and went for a walk towards Jam Gate with two female friends. They parked the car in the firing range near Chhoti Jam and started talking to each other.

Meanwhile, suddenly eight miscreants carrying pistols, knives and sticks surrounded the car from all sides. They assaulted the army officers and young women and looted their money and purses.

The accused took an officer and a young woman hostage. They sent the remaining woman and the officer to get money saying that they will not be released until they bring Rs. 10 lakh. The frightened officer came into the network and informed the unit commanding officer about the incident.

The army officers immediately informed Dial-100 and reached the spot with the police. Seeing their vehicles, the miscreants fled from the spot. The accused had kept the girl and her companion Major separately.

The police have registered a case of robbery, assault, extortion and gang rape. The army officer who was rescued from the clutches of the miscreants told the police that the miscreants were repeatedly demanding money. The police have imposed the section of gang rape on the basis of the statement of the trainee officer. One of the two miscreants caught also has a criminal record.

Indore Rural SP Hitika Vasal said, we received information that four people (2 boys and 2 girls) had gone to Jam Gate. They were beaten up and robbed. We immediately sent our team there, immediately formed 10 teams and arrested 2 accused.

According to the SP, the complainant also told that the accused have done something wrong with his female friend. In this case, along with the sections related to robbery, dacoity, rape and Arms Act, rape section has also been imposed. Vasal told that the personnel of four police stations have also started searching for the remaining miscreants.
